Program STEM Selangor is an initiative organized by YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad,  Jawatankuasa Tetap Pendidikan, Pembangunan Modal Insan, Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, through Bahagian Pengurusan Maklumat Kerajaan Negeri Selangor. It is an initiative by the state government to promote the learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) among schools in Selangor via unique hands-on approach.

From the year 2016 to 2018, more than 200 schools and over 5000 students have joined this program with the theme of Industrial Revolution 4.0 technology  such as robotics, renewable energy, 3D printing and data logging, which are becoming the new normal in current time.

The programme was also in-line Ministry of Education policy which to ensure that every activity may also provide both academic values and moral values to students who had participated. In the last series of the program in 2018, a final competition was conducted in MaGIC, Cyberjaya which was also closed by the Selangor Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari.

The final competition showed participation from 40 selected schools and over 200 students. These schools joined were shortlisted from the STEM Selangor roadtour which had showed good potentials. Cash rewards were also given out to the winners by Menteri Besar Selangor himself.
